En pintura, recuerdo <em>Las Majas<\/em> del Balc\u00f3n de Goya y las reinterpretaciones que hicieron Eduard Manet y Ren\u00e9 Magritte. En cine, pienso en la famosa escena de <em>El Esp\u00edritu de la Colmena<\/em> de V\u00edctor Erice o el cortometraje <em>Ten minutes older<\/em> de Herz Frank, entre otros. Este trabajo explora el mismo tema en el contexto interactivo. Las personas de la grilla est\u00e1n viendo una pieza de v\u00eddeo de unos diez minutos de duraci\u00f3n. Ellos\/as son el nuevo espectador. Mirarles a ellos sentados en sus respectivos espacios privados mientras nosotros mismos, los espectadores, estamos sentados del mismo modo, es mirarnos. La potencia de este trabajo radica en su dimensi\u00f3n performativa. La pieza cobra vida cuando el espectador cobra conciencia de su propio cuerpo. Sin la presencia\/consciencia de este cuerpo la obra no existe. Al igual que el cuerpo del bailar\u00edn, el cuerpo del espectador participa de la creaci\u00f3n. Sus gestos componen una sutil microdanza. El espectador deja de ser abstracto e inm\u00f3vil para volverse materia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The interactive beholder body<\/em> es una suerte de contracampo de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exit-exhibit.com\/index.php\/esta-version-del-bartleby\/\">Esta versi\u00f3n del Bartleby<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking at the beholder has been explored frequently as a artistic subject. In painting, I&#8217;m remembering Goya&#8217;s Majas del Balc\u00f3n Eduard Manet and Ren\u00e9 Magritte derives. In cinema, I&#8217;m thinking on the famous scene in El Esp\u00edritu de la Colmena by V\u00edctor Erice or Herz Frank&#8217;s shortfilm Ten Minutes Older. This work explores the same subject in an interactive context. People on the grid are watching about ten minutes long film. They are the new beholder model. But, lookeng them y looking oneself. However, in this work the performative dimension is enhanced. The piece comes to life when the viewer becomes aware of his or her own body. Without the presence\/consciousness of this body the work does not exist. Like the dancer&#8217;s body, the spectator&#8217;s body participates in the creation. His gestures compose a subtle microdance.
